This project was designed using Resysta decking (a composite wood alternative), custom-made PVC posts with Resysta rails, and custom iron balusters from Macaro Ironworks. We built an open porch roof with meranti tongue and groove ceiling, and a Velux skylight to match the porch in front. Lighting was installed on both the posts, as well as on the wide steps that cascade into a large backyard. (Photo by Frank Gensheimer Photography)
